Mr. Spector has been a member of our Board since our formation in May 2009 and has been our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since February 2021 and prior thereto as our President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2017. He served as our Executive Managing Director, President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2016 through December 2016 and, prior thereto, as President and Chief Operating Officer since May 2009. Mr. Spector has also served in a variety of similar executive positions at PFSI and its affiliates from its founding in January 2008. Prior to joining PFSI and its affiliates, Mr. Spector was co-head of global residential mortgages for Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm, based in London. Before joining Morgan Stanley in September 2006, Mr. Spector was the senior managing director, secondary marketing, at Countrywide, where he was employed from May 1990 to August 2006. Mr. Spector holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
